03 Fit your workflow

Use the POS you already have.

Card Companion prepares the product details, variants, barcodes and labels. Your POS handles the cart, payment and receipt in the counter workflow your staff already know.

Once the generated barcode is saved against the matching product record, staff can scan the label at checkout.

Does Card Companion replace my POS?
No. Card Companion prepares your card products, variants, barcodes and labels. Your POS still handles the retail transaction.
Will the barcodes work with any POS?
Card Companion generates standard barcode formats. Your POS must support the selected format and store the same barcode against the matching product record.
Which barcode formats are available?
EAN-13 is the default. EAN-8, UPC-A, Code 128 and Code 39 are also supported.
Does adding barcodes change our existing Shopify products?
No. Barcodes are saved against the product records you already have. Your theme, domain and checkout remain unchanged.
