What happens to the products already in our Shopify store?

They can be matched to the card record and updated in place. Card Companion creates products for the cards that are missing, rather than publishing a second copy of something you already sell.

Do prices come with the catalogue?

Card records carry market pricing, and your store price is set by your own rules. Automatic pricing covers how those rules work per condition, language and finish.

What does publishing a complete set create?

Card Companion creates one Shopify product for each card printing you choose to include. The conditions, languages and finishes you sell are added to that product as variants. You can publish the complete set or select individual cards instead.

Can we add products through a bulk listing import?

Yes. Products can be created from bulk listing files generated by supported tools. They use the same catalogue records and Shopify product structure as cards published individually, by set or through the buylist.

Do catalogue records include prices?

Card records include market pricing, while your Shopify prices follow the rules you set for your store. See automatic pricing for how pricing rules can be applied by condition, language and finish.

Which trading card games are supported?

The catalogue covers major trading card games including Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, One Piece, Flesh and Blood, Riftbound, Star Wars Unlimited and Gundam Card Game.

Does the catalogue cover sealed products as well as singles?

Yes. Sealed products use a product and inventory structure suited to sealed stock, while singles use card printings with variants for their conditions, languages and finishes.

Can we control how products are named and organised?

Yes. Product titles, tags, metafields and SEO fields can follow your store’s conventions, helping new products fit your existing collections, navigation and theme.
